I just went on to youtube and other sites and watched some amazing films from the man's career. What a showstopper! This guy could dance, sing, and bedazzle a crowd like nobody's business. A major influence to the world of music, fo sho. |

Even early hip hop would have taken on a completely different sound without the Godfather of Rap. Today's hip hop might not reflect that, but you might have fun looking up an old Big Daddy Kane or LL Cool J track after listening to James Brown's music. Of course, that was back when people rapped about wearing shoes with big laces and talking too much.
