Jamie Zawinski, the famous hacker responsible for the first Unix Netscape, is opening a club in San Francisco. He did the homework and did a nice writeup of some of the issues involved in broadcasting music on the Internet. It's an interesting look at how the whole licensing system works, and how music companies are treating the Internet. |
