headliners?

hey phlux, i saw on one of your links that you played at headliners? (chance in hell but...) is that the same headliners as the one in toledo? i know it sounds real fucked up shiznit but i'm jes wondering.

Nope, it's a bar in Portland, Maine. It used to be the Shady Lady, and before that used to be something else. It's on one of the narrow one-way cobblestone streets in the Old Port. One time at 1:30am, when Phlux had the van pulled up to the door to load out, a cop came by and said, basically, "If you don't move that van I'll fine you $750." He didn't care that it was only going to be there for a couple minutes, he just wanted to be a dick about it. So we had to carry all the equipment halfway around the block, and we made fun of Officer Dick for the rest of the night. On the other hand, it's right next to the late night hamburger stand, Wimpy's. It's pretty cool when you're still pretty hammered and it's after last call and you gotta eat something and everything's closed. Wimpy's to the rescue!

cant wait till cold comes to hardhat in aug dawg! only $12 a ticket man. but buy them prescale, cause they usually sell out in like a week. except paying ticket masters price you may as well pay $12.....
