Phish has done a thing for a few halloweens where they cover an entire album by some other artist from beginning to end in order. Just for fun, what album would Phlux pick if they ever did something like that? Here's some that I was thinking of:
- the first weezer album
- refreshments / fizzy buzzy something something
- the first third eye blind album
- pearl jam / ten |

- nirvana / in utero or nevermind
- green day / kerplunk or nimrod |

most pearl jam would be pretty tricky with only 1 guitar |

These are all really cool suggestions. I like this post a lot, and the idea as well. I will keep thinking about it, and I welcome all the posts from everyone here about which albums might be good ideas. |

It'd be hard to do a perfect Pearl Jam imitation, but covers are for bringing your own interpretation to a song. Covering a whole album would be pretty boring if you played it exactly like the original. Yeah, I know that's what a lot of cheesy bands do. What's the point? You could just stay home and listen to the CD. Anyway, Phlux's cover of Evenflow kicks ass, and it's always fun to hear Cody break out Jeremy unplugged. Even Sweet Home Alabama is fun, without the 5 guitars and the piano. |

Local H's "As Good As Dead" or Sponge's "Wax Ecstatic" or even "New Pop Sunday" I'd love to hear Phlux cover Local H or Sponge. |

Chris, thanks for digging this post up. I like "Eddie Vedder" by Local H. I think its funny that we're talking about a band and a singer of another band we're talking about which is also a song by the first band. Follow? |

Heh heh heh. For the uninitiated Local H is a band that (at least rumor says) stands for "Local Hood(s)" or "Local Hoodlums" something like that. They did a song called "Eddie Vedder". I love Local H and "Eddie Vedder" is one of my all time faves of theirs. "Half Life" was good too. Maybe Phlux could do "Blister In The Sun". Heh heh heh.

It's not an album but I'd love to hear Phlux do a cover of "Hands Down" by Dashboard Confessionals. |

I think that if you guys ever do decide to do a full cover album then you should deffinatley choose Sublime to do it over, but ya know thats just my opinion |

Man, this is still a good idea, maybe we should do this, like, once a year, and otherwise hang the ol' covers up... |
