Finals...
Anybody wonder why it takes so long for profs to grade finals? I mean, its been over two weeks since I took my last final, and I still don't have grades back. What's the deal there?

Maybe they're intimidated by the results. They are trying to suppress the evidence of your superiority, to avoid alarming the population. Use your powers for good, never evil!!

Dude, maybe they're just trying to soften the news for you... some variation on the old cliche, "time heals all wounds," maybe?

I'm not worried about my grades, its more like an annoyance. I mean, 2-3 weeks after we're done, we still don't know how we did? That's absurd!

it's like the AP tests...you take it in the beginning of May and you don't get the results until July! grrr

C'mon, you know how you did. You just want to kow how well the teacher thought you did.

Hey, lemme break the news to you. Teachers have lives, and I am sure yours haven't spent the past three weeks thinking, "I have to grade Cody's paper." More than likely your teachers have to deal with all kinds of administrative crap having to do with clsoing out the school year. Grading is just one piece of it all. Patience, my friend!

I'm going to use that one at work next time my boss gives me a big job to do. "Hey, I have a life, you know. I'm not doing this until I damn well feel like it!"
