Narcolepsy

I wish I had narcolepsy... My life would be so much easier if I did... I wonder if there's a way I can get it... "I should warn you... I go to sleep.. I know you don't know what I mean..."

Well I have a form of it and so does my godathar, but two different types. With me, I occasionally wake up and cannot move anypart of my body--it's like my body is still asleep and my brain isn't connected. I just try and go back to sleep. My godfather, John Brewer, told me he used to fall asleep at the wheel, and in fact lost a job because he was unable to stay awake on the job.

I've heard that described as "sleep paralysis". I've had it happen a few times and it's been terrifying. I woke up from a dream that someone was in the room, and I couldn't move a muscle. It felt like someone was pressing down on my back. It freaked me out! I only learned about the condition later. Fortunately it's only happened to me twice in my life.

Once... There was this boy who... Wanted narcolepsy so he couldn't go to school. And when... He finally got it... His... Eyes... Were always closed never open. He couldn't quite explain it, it was just something he wished for.
