What's the best PHLUX song recorded to date?
That's the question, what's your answer?

Have you recorded "Green River?"

I really really really like Alien Gleams. It makes me jump around like a punk on xtc.
I really really really like Oblivion. It's awful pretty. (Yes, loudness and even screaming can be pretty. That takes TAleNt, guys...)

Though I love many Phlux songs, I would have to go with The Redneck Song, simply because it makes me laugh. I have played it several times at high volume, which I don't think has made the neighbors happy-oh well.

I'm not saying that it's my favorite, but I've always been particularly fond of 'Thank You', even though its old.

I really like "Hole in the Ground" because of the bass in the beginning. I love that bass! As for guitar, I like "Scratch". It almost seems cliche, because I've noticed a lot of people like that song, but I don't care. I love the guitar in that one. I like the drums in that one too. I haven't actually picked a song that I liked for lyrics yet though. I love all the Phlux songs...

Nick Heintz wanted me to say that he really likes "Hole in the Ground"

I think my favorite recorded song currently is Breathe. Clint is a great songwriter! It just grows on me playing and listening to it.

It's a rarely thought of Phlux track but my favorite song they've laid to tape would be Whisper.

Other contenders: Breathe, Spider, Screwdriver, Rarity, Undertow

Anyone who knows me, would say "Granite Street" :) but I love all of the songs.

I guess my favorite would be Falling in I don't have a reason why other than I just really like it

I'm stuck between Alien Gleams and Undertow. But to choose just one Phlux song, thats asking a lot. I guess it really just comes down to what mood I'm in. But I'd say there is a little Phlux for just about any occasion.

Well folks,
since there's a new album out, I'm wondering if anyone's had a change of heart as far as what they think is our best song recorded. I suppose you could also answer the question "what's you fave phlux recorded song?" here. Just want to know if the new CD has changed anyone's mind.

For me their are to many to name however the one that stands out for me is Febuary. Also, the big time lyric that stands out for me is "I'd rather die in darkness than with sunlight on my back." from Undertow.

Does the Redneck Song count as a recorded song? I have it on a tape that I bought YEARS ago...you so need to play that song sometime. Haven't heard it in ages.

Yeah, it counts. We're working on some stuff from that Tour we took out to Montana and back. We have some recordings that we may be releasing in the near future, so look out for that people. It is really cool stuff, and we're happy with it, enough to make it our first live release in years... Keep yer ears & eyes on phlux.net for news about dates and whatnot...
